Here is the review of Fifth Avenue Glamour Girl by Renée Rosen. This book is historical fiction based on Estée Lauder from a friend’s view.  
This book cover caught my attention as it is stylish and fashionable. Also I like the point that this novel is set in NYC.
I re-realized that people support each other to make their life better. Having a strong friendship makes our life easy and fun, however I didn’t like the way Estée Lauder takes action and how to think. There were some points that I might have stopped reading.
I’ve never used her cosmetics and came to be interested in them because Estée Lauder had persevered with her belief that her products have a big value to change women’s skin.
If you have a dream that you want to have enormous success, this book might be your vitality to believe in yourself.

この本は、エスティ ローダーの成り立ちを、友達の視点から描かれた歴史小説です。

私がなぜこの本を選んだかというと、ジャケットがかわいかったから。NYCが舞台だったから。あとは女性の出世について描かれていたからです。

読んでよかった点は、私たち人間は、「人」という漢字の通り、支えあって生きているのだなと改めて感じたことです。そして、同性の友達を持つことの素晴らしさも痛感しました。途中、あまりの自分勝手なエスティのやり方にいら立ちを感じ、読むのをやめようと思いましたが、結果最後まで読んでよかったです。

エスティローダーの化粧品を使ったことはありませんが、どんな状況でも自分の商品は評価に値すると信じて貫いたエスティの商品を、一度使ってみたい気になりました。

将来、成功を勝ち取りたいと思っている女性には、活力本になるかもしれません。NYCの街中が分かる人は、読みながら場所を鮮明にイメージができるので、楽しいと思います。
