Kill for Me, Kill for You

Here is the review of Kill for Me, Kill for You by Steve Cavanagh. I chose to read it because it seems like a lot of people like it and it was set in Manhattan.
Amanda and Wendy meet in a grief support group. They share their stories of loss with one another. Both have lost a loved one as a result of separate acts of heinous crime and believe that law enforcement has failed to bring the perpetrator(s) to justice. They come up with the plan; “kill for me kill for you” – each with a foolproof alibi to keep themselves off the radar of investigators.
The story is speedy and it is easy to follow the storyline. You read this book through the perspective of Amanda, Wendy and Detective Farrow, so you will get to know all of the characters. The ending is very twisty, but it was good. Overall, I enjoyed Kill for Me, Kill for You.

Kill for Me, Kill for You by Steve Cavanaghの感想を書きます。たくさんの人がよかった！と言っているのを見かけたのとマンハッタンが舞台だったので、読んでみました。
アマンダとウェンディは、グリーフサポートグループで出会います。二人とも、凶悪犯罪によって愛する人を失い、法執行機関が犯人を裁きにかけることができていないことに悶々としていることを共有し、お互いが助け合えないか話し始め、「私のために犯罪者を殺してくれたら、あなたのために犯罪者を殺します」という計画を立てます。
話のテンポはとてもよく、読みやすかったです。アマンダ、ウェンディ、捜査官の視点で話が進んでいくので、それぞれのキャラクターについて読める楽しみもありました。最後は、予期しない展開で話が終わりますが、心地よい終わり方で、個人的には楽しめた一冊でした。
