This is a cupcake shop that looks cute right from the start. In addition to the Georgetown store, there are also popular locations in NYC, Boston, and LA. Located in Georgetown, it became famous when President Obama went there for his daughter Sasha’s 10th birthday. There may be some people who feel that they don’t make it too sweet, but I thought personally that the frosting was very sweet. If you are not a fan of American levels of sweetness, it might be a good idea to have a drink in hand when eating. 
　They have around 20 regular cupcake varieties, but there are also daily and weekly specials, and limited edition items. When you go to visit (especially the main store), be prepared to wait in a long line. It is pretty busy throughout the day, but you can also order online the day before and come in to pick up. If you are looking for a classic American taste, try the red velvet cupcake. There are also gluten free and vegan cupcakes, adding to the popularity of the store. Also, I think they may be using all-purpose flour? It did not have the light feel in the mouth that comes with cake flour. However, they are cute cupcakes, so that may be the only criticism. If there aren’t any stores close by, you can still order for delivery. Also, their Twitter is updated more frequently than their homepage, and there will sometimes be coupons you can get there. They are also active on Instagram. This is a cute cupcake store I recommend.

　こちらは見た目がかわいいカップケーキ屋さん。今ではジョージタウン以外の街、例えばNYCやボストン、LA等にも店舗を構える人気店です。ジョージタウンが本店で、オバマ大統領の愛娘、サーシャちゃんの10歳の誕生日会をお店がまとめたことで有名です。甘さは控えめという人もいますが、個人的にはフロスティングはすごく甘いと感じました。アメリカの甘さが苦手な人は、飲み物片手に食べることをおすすめします。店頭には、常時約20種類のカップケーキが並んでおり、日替り、月替わり、スペシャルバージョンといった限定味もあります。お店に行かれる方（特に本店）は、長蛇の列になることを心していおいてください。（開店すぐが狙い目、もしくは前日に予約してピックアップするのもよし）
　アメリカっぽい味を試したい人は、レッドベルベットはいかがでしょうか。グルテンフリー、ヴィーガンカップケーキもあるのは、さすが人気店ですよね。そして、カップケーキのスポンジは中力粉なのでしょうか？薄力粉で作った、口当たりの軽い感じはありませんでした。でも、見た目がかわいいので、それだけでよしでしょう（笑）
　近くに店舗がないという人はアメリカ国内であれば、デリバリーもしているようなので試してみてください。そして、お店のホームページよりTwitterの方が日々更新されていて、割引クーポン等の情報をいち早くゲットできます。インスタ映えもするかわいいカップケーキ屋さん、おすすめです。
